The Great Date Guide

Female Body Language

Body language and dating
You can learn a lot by reading a woman's body language. Pay attention to things like body posture, her voice, hand gestures, ... Boy language can be subtle, there not all that obvious like this hand gesture.

Most men are interested in reading female body language above all other things. You have no real interest in what's going on with other men; instead, you are focused on one thing.

Fortunately for you, reading female body language isn't as hard as it could be. Women communicate a lot to men through simple hand gestures and body posture, and a man who is perceptive enough to see what she's saying is one who is likely to get lucky that night.

When reading a woman's body language, pay attention to everything, head to toe. She says something with her hair, and she says other things with her shoes. Start with the face, of course. The eyes give you plenty of information. How does she wear makeup? Is it dramatic and dark? Or does she keep it simple and innocent? Does it match her clothing? Does she show a lot of skin? These bits of information give you important information about how you can approach her, if you choose to do so.

More important than what she's wearing on them is how she is observing you. What many men don't realize is that the woman makes the first move; female body language, conscious or otherwise, is designed to draw a man in, encourage him to make his move while she focuses on choosing the right one. She won't waste time looking at you if you don't have a chance.

If, however, you catch her glancing or openly staring at you, that's a clear female body language indication that you are the target of her wiles. Girls often use a hair toss to get a man's attention; this isn't the ridiculous looking thing you might think, but rather a subtle thing, a movement of the head, subconscious, that makes the hair shimmer and bounce. Look for it especially in girls with long hair.

But when you're sure she's interested, don't approach yet. Wait for other signals she will give you. For instance, if you're not moving in and she wants you to, listen for her voice. It will raise in pitch, and she'll probably laugh louder and more. Again, this part of female body language is almost certainly involuntary - but it's also unavoidable.

When you move in, watch for the other signals: the smile, the wide inviting eyes. Her arms will open up, and her legs will swing around to face you. When you speak, she may lean slightly or even markedly toward you. All these signal genuine interest on her part.

Interpreting female body language is as much an art as it is a skill. You can increase your ratio of yes's by paying close attention to it. By mastering female body language, you can become irresistible.
