Love

Everybody needs somebody to love.

What is love? It's a question kids ask all the time. The truth is, most adults don't know what love is. Love is something that just happens on its own-it really can't be described in words is what many people say. Well, that might be somewhat true, as describing love isn't an easy thing.

What is Love?

Everyone needs someone to love. So if you think you've found someone, how do you know when you are in love? There are obvious signs that you love someone. These include:

• Not being able to stop thinking about him/her
• Wanting to spend as much time with him/her as possible
• Wanting to give him/her presents to show your affection
• Wanting to spend the rest of your life with him/her

So, basically, love is when you can't stop thinking about another person and want to spend the rest of your life with that person. Or when you really care about someone.

If you have these feelings toward someone, it is a good idea to tell them. You won't find true happiness until you do. Once you've told that person and they tell you that they have these feelings toward you as well then you're in love.

When you're in love

Eventually, you will be able to say "I love you" to your love. You might even be able to describe yourself as being "crazy in love" like a certain singer's song. Or you might be able to describe your boyfriend or girlfriend as "my love".

Later on, the relationship might reach the point where you are making love to that person. However, this point in the relationship shouldn't happen too quickly. No relationship should be based completely on sex, which is why many couples wait to have sex until they know that this is real love, not a fake relationship.

First Love

Everyone has a first love. Unfortunately for most, their first love isn't the one they marry and spend the rest of their lives with. Sometimes they do end up marrying their first love.

Most first loves are high school or college sweethearts. While these relationships can work out, many don't because the couple rushes into marriage. If you are thinking about marrying your first love, it is important for the two of you to sit down and discuss things. Make sure that marriage is the next best step in your relationship before proposing.
